Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of mechanical and electrical components, starting from the original date of purchase. Under this warranty:
- Residential users are covered for three (3) years from the purchase date.
- Commercial and industrial users are covered for 270 days.
The warranty includes both parts and labor for repair or replacement of defective components. However, shipping costs for returning products for warranty service must be paid by the customer.
This warranty is offered exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Repair or Replacement Terms
If your generator is found to have a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty:
- SIOKIUU will repair or replace the defective part or unit.
- The replacement unit or parts will continue to be covered under the original warranty period.
- All service must be authorized by SIOKIUU and performed by qualified technicians.
What Is Not Covered
While our warranty provides broad protection, certain exclusions apply. The following are not covered:
1. Normal Wear and Tear
- Items subject to regular wear, such as filters, spark plugs, paint, decals, and O-rings.
- Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality.
2. Improper Use or Maintenance
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, overloading, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or accidents.
- Failures due to improper installation, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized repairs.
3. Unauthorized Parts and Usage
- Failures resulting from using non-genuine SIOKIUU parts or accessories.
- Use of the equipment as a primary utility power source, where not applicable.
4. External or Uncontrollable Factors
- Damage caused by natural disasters or force majeure events, such as earthquakes, floods, lightning, or fires.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty does not cover any indirect or consequential damages, including:
- Loss of time, productivity, or profits
- Shipping or transportation fees related to warranty claims
- Personal injury or property damage arising from the use of the product
This warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
